Proud Dabaweños; Dilemma

There are actually a lot to blog about, but I'll just include Saturday's trip (which is I've been longing to blog since Sunday, but didn't have the time), and my dilemma. Well, it's our company's dilemma.

First stop, Saturday's trip. As I mentioned in the prior post, I was really frustrated. And it continued until Saturday. I didn't have a nice sleep last Friday night, I didn't have a wonderful morning, and definitely didn't have a good trip (since I was awake the whole time). But anyway, I enjoyed looking at the sceneries - my way of avoiding those frustrations.

As the trip went on, I noticed banners hung or attached to gates or trees in all schools, some government agencies, covert courts, and gyms. Those banners are saying "Garbo namo nga kami taga-Davao del Sur" or "We are proud that we are from Davao del Sur". I wonder if those banners can alse be seen here in Davao City, but I noticed them all the way to Bansalan, Davao del Sur.

So guys from Davao del Sur, what recent happening here that made you say you are proud to be from here? Did the province won an award or something? What is it? I'm really puzzled.

Anyway, let's go next to my dilemma. My officemate's been fired, for a reason that I'm not in position to tell. But what the hell??? Why would they "terminate" (it's the term they used, harsh huh?) someone who might be very valuable to the company? I mean, I didn't know him that much, but I know what he's capable of. I mean, he's a lot better than I am with programming stuff, and he has a good reputation when it comes to programming during our college years. Just so unfair.

*sigh
Why a company's dilemma? Because I can foresee that this company won't last long. And I'm guessing this will end even before I give birth to my second child. And why is it my dilemma? Because even though we are working with a different person, we're still part of this company. No matter how good our team is working, we will still go down if the company goes down.

Oh, no! I think I'll be looking for another job now. This is just so great!!!
