Mom's Birthday

Today marks my Mom's 53rd birthday.  Since I don't have the money for a gift, I made her a card, with her picture in front.  It's not that expensive, but at least it comes from my heart.  I made and printed it around 12mn, after I got disconnected from the internet.  Then I put it at the dining table, where, I know, she can see it easily.  Then went to bed at around 2am.  When I woke up at around 7am, I greeted her again, and she thanked me for the card...^_^

Anyway, my Ate gave her a box of roses (as she always do when there's an occasion).  Then my Kuya called her through my phone (since he got disconnected right away with the landline) and greeted her a happy birthday.

The day's pretty much silent because it's as if today's just an ordinary day.  Plus, it was raining the whole day.  But we celebrated her birthday this evening.  Just a little something to differentiate this day from an average day.  We had bam-i, chicken adobo, liempo, chicken salad, moist cake, and binangkal (fried bread rolls).  Funny because the binangkal wasn't really part of the plan.  Papa brought it from the nursery site because a lot were left from the food they served for the program (hosted by Provincial Government and LGU of South Cotabato...long story..)

So there, just a little celebration.  Mama doesn't really want one, but Papa insisted. hehehe...

Fita Commercial

I've already seen this commercial weeks ago (or was it months ago?) but didn't have the chance to blog about it...either I was busy or forget about it.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I really enjoy watching this.  The first time I saw this, I was really laughing so hard.  My family also thinks the same way.  When my mother saw this, her first reaction was "Ay! Bobo (dumb)!". hahaha!

So here it is.  Sharing this for laughs.

One Morning

Want to see what we look like when we just woke up? Here's a picture. This was taken this morning, about 10 minutes after Myles woke up. I, however, woke up at around 6am, then Janjan at 6:30am. This was taken around 7:10 this morning. Aren't we cute? Hehehe..


Few minutes later, Janjan had fallen asleep. We didn't notice that until Honey said so. We were busy taking pictures. hehe...

It Started With A Kiss

I really love this Taiwanese Series.  Genre is Comedy/Romance.  This is a story about a young, not-so-intelligent girl, so in-loved with a super genius, cold-hearted boy.  It all started when the girl (Yuan Xiang Qin) attempted to give a love letter to the boy (Jiang Zhi Shu).  Well, the boy didn't accept it anyway, but that was the start of their unusual story.

Xiang Qin's father is Zhi Shu's father's best friend.  So when Xiang Qin's house was destroyed by an earthquake, the two of them moved in with Zhi Shu's family.  Their parents, specifically Zhi Shu's mother, want them to end up together.  So there goes their crazy, yet very romantic love story.

This series was release on year 2007.  And I've some, I guess most, of it's 30 episodes twice.  But it still gives me the chill while watching this series.  This is one of the TV series that I would love to watch over and over.
